    This weekend -going forward

New to the forum -but not to riding Colorado Canyons. Early Snow means sand in many of "our" canyons. Be smart especially on the "western" facing sides of these canyons until late spring.

Last weekend was beautiful but I am sure others will comment - what canyons you need to "watch" in the coming monthes.

GG , Coal Creek and Left Hand should have sand now - and "step outs" are not fatal but -real low sides are ...
finally - handlebars ...an Aprilia Tuono with Ohlins and OZ's

past rides too numerous to mention

Canyon roads that tend to clear up from sand/gravel more quickly include those that are south-facing, like South St. Vrain (hwy7), but when the mag chloride gets sprayed, even the fine white powdery stuff after it's been dry for a while, tends to be an extra unnecessary layer between your tires and the road.

I'll get a ride report posted next week. ~1K of CO roads. I'm sure that there will be sand ---- somewhere. 14 passes or such. Too many to count. I am soooo outta here
