Walden Ride Oct 3rd

Wondering if anyone out there would be interested in a ride to Walden on Oct 3rd? The ride would basically go like this; Fort Collins-Golden-Walden-Fort Collins - Golden(for those from the Denver area who meet us in Golden).

I know I'm a newbee to the club, but I've been riding with CFRSR and CSC for years. Kinda worried that if a newbee posted this ride no one would show up. Oh well, gonna do it anyways, so below are some details.....

The ride will leave Fort Collins about 8:15am and meet up at the same ol' gas station we've all meet at before in Golden (on hwy 93, the light just north of Hwy 6 intersection) at aprox 9:30.

The last ride we had from here was the "Canyon Blast" that was arranged by RCStylin, but we were rained out after the first couple of canyons.

Further directions of the ride will be given out upon meeting in Golden. Post up if you think you can make it........hope to see you there.

I have been planning on doing that exact same ride tomorrow (9/26) but watching the news this morning with pics of I-70 @ the tunnel closed due to an accident and snow covered, I might not do it tomorrow. If not, I'd definitely be in to go with you next weekend. We'd be able to meet as you come past Berthoud. That should be a great ride, I'd love to have company.

We'll be coming past Bethoud on 287. We could meet you at the Berthoud intersection (on the West side of Berthoud) where the old 287 used to run and where the new 287 intersects it. I think it's about 3-5 miles after you enter onto 287 from Loveland. I'll be on a white Interceptor, wife on a black cbr600rr, buddy on a blue/white gsxr600, and maybe a few more riders. Hope you can make it......

Got it Daemon, I sent him a message already. Don't know about the ride Sat, the high in Winter Park is 43F! I'm thinking it might be more of a local ride....... Thoughts??

It's going to take a bit for things to warm up on Saturday, even locally. Just currious D are you still in the greeley area? If so it sounds like everyone is North. I would be interested in tagging along. Maybe we should mix and match Stove Prarie, Devils gultch, Flatiron Res, Left hand, Hwy, 7. How does meeting somewhere we can drink Java and discuss routt sound.

Meet for coffee/breakfast 8:30/9 KSU @10:00. Like I said I'm easy. A short Brisk A.M ride to arrive at Hot Breakfast is one of my favorite ways to start a day. Or Just shred canyons befor the cagers get out. still waiting for Mr. Math to chime in...

A group will meet in the Fort at 9:30 at JJ's gas station. There will be around 5-7 people meeting there. JJ's is on the North West corner of Harmony and Taft Hill Road. We'll ride down to Lyons to meet up with the rest of the crowd. When in Lyons we'll give more percise directions of the canyon blast.
