    Route help

We are looking for a day long trip tomorrow and have no idea where to go. We have done it all, all canyons from north to south, and west. What do you guys recommend? Planning to leave HR at 8:30 and be back by 4:30 or so. We'd rather avoid P2P, done it last weekend. Sherri wants to do puter (spl) canyon up north but last time we rode it, it took us 12 hours. Some fall colors will be nice.

    Thanks

We did Deckers out to Cripple Creek today. It was a nice ride. Little bit of costuction towards the end and some sand on the center line. But all in all it was a nice ride. Oh left Golden 0930 got back to town(lakewoody) about 1600. Stopped in CC for lunch. Hope this helps.

poudre canyon is looking really nice now. not lots of traffic, rafters and dreadlocks all gone, and the roads were really clean as they have beeen cleaning up the oil spill from the truck that went into the river.
Do carter-horsetooth-stover over to poudre and go to the top of cameron pass, then back to eat at the Inn on the way down.

Day long trip? Poudre to Walden to Winter Park to Golden, although that would run you a few hours past 4:30

    Re: Route help

I'm heading out tomorrow at 10(ish) for a few hour ride. Mostly it's to take foliage pictures, but you guys are welcome to come along. We're meeting at the Starbucks on Broadway right north of Hampden (in the King Soopers parking lot). PM me (so I'll get it on email and thus my phone) if you think you'll make it as I doubt I'll check CSC before heading out tomorrow.
