Rider down and it happened to be me.

It was a nice ride till i ran into a car. I was comig down from woodland park headed back home, a bug splattered my helmet i wiped it and by the time i was done and looked a car had put on its breaks it was to late for me. I was going about 50 or so and smacked right into it. Both me and my passanger was thrown off the bike (she fell on top of me).., i was the only one to get hurt. My body aches for sure, and my ankle is swollen and hurting like crazy.

I was in my leathers, she was in a jacket and helmet.

She was pretty much unharmed. So glad for that. I felt humiliated and more pissed at myself.

The dmg to the bike is unknown. I know my back break pedal is shattered the side bar cracked, also the front sounds funny. I'll get a picture soon.

If anyone could get a chance sometime to look at my bike before i take it to a shop and get charged ridiculesy just for havin it looked at it. I'd really appreciate it. Give u lunch or somethin.

Both frame slider look like that, except one of left is alot more thrashed.
The plastics are all scraped i cleaned and fixed most of the cracks.

Hard to see, but that whole section their is cracked and fallin off.

Not Really sure how this happened.

Both the nuts and plastic hold ins, are busted for front end.

Some miner cracks on bottom i can fix myself and this connector pulled off.

    sorry man... heal up quick.

next time give yourself some distance.

not trying to rant or pick on you, but it drives me crazy how much people tailgate out here.

Glad to hear you're both OK, but it sounds like you should get your ankle checked out for sure.

Glad to hear you two are ok, especially your passenger. If I crash and hurt myself, that's one thing, but I don't think I could live with hurting or killing my passenger. Best of luck with the ankle and the bike. I'm not n town or I would offer to help

I am so happy to have a Shoei multitech flip up helmet for the very reason you have posted. It's so easy to get the face shield up and out of the way when anything hits it. If you are re-investing in gear it's worth a look.

You should give me the number of the chick. She needs someone that can ride and not crash into the back of a car

Bummer dude. Hope ya feel betta soon.

IMO, ya should provide more than 20 yards at 50mph. I may sound like a hypocrite, but everyone makes mistakes. Glad you both are ok.

Do you have insurance? If so they will pay for the estimate fee, if not they will send someone out that can write the estimate. I dont like our system, the parts and labor never seem to be correct or I would look at it for you. Good luck, glad you guys are ok!!

Sorry to hear about your accident. Like they said get yourself checked out. I'd hate for it to be one of those injuries that never quite heals properly and will a bother you the rest of your life. Hard lesson learned but glad you and your passenger are okay.

Man! You don't have to do everything I do! I wrecked my bike so you didn't have to!

Glad to hear that you both are OK for the most part. I hope you both went and got checked out just to make sure everything is cool. Whatever you do, DON'T go to the ER, go to one of those places like Emergicare! I learned my lesson the $3K+ way!

That's for sure. It really sucks when all the ER can do for you is say, "Sorry you'll have to see a specialist for that." yet still charge you the 3K.
