Friendly Dogs Needed for the CSU/CVMA Canine Medical Massage Course!

Got this email...I figured I'd share with you dog peeps...


Does your dog enjoy massage? Is she or he friendly with other dogs and people? The 2010 Medical Massage for Animals, Canine Program, is starting on October 13, two weeks from this Wednesday. We need dogs to help our veterinarians and veterinary technicians learn soft tissue therapy techniques and anatomical features during the afternoon labs. If you’re interested in joining us, please contact me, the course director, Dr. Narda Robinson, at Narda.Robinson@colostate.edu . Horsetooth Road.

Here is a list of our labs:

October 13, 2010 (Wednesday), 5p-6p: Canine Living Anatomy – Identify Specific Anatomical Landmarks on Dogs.
October 14, 2010 (Thursday), 4p-6p: Myofascial Release and Swedish Massage Practice on Dogs.
October 15, 2010 (Friday), 4p-6p: Myofascial Release and Swedish Massage Practice on Dogs.
October 16, 2010 (Saturday), 2:15p-4:30p: Myofascial Release and Swedish Massage Practice on Dogs.

We encourage you to remain with your dog during the session, and dogs may be eligible to participate in more than one lab.
