All of these pictures are secks... I do hope the Ninja 1000 takes off, that way there will be the FZ1, Z1k, and the Ninja 1k for comparisons and options.

Some of us, especially those of us who have been riding them from the start, would like to see a V4-powered sport bike in the 750-1000cc range. (And a 600c version, properly executed, would be a killer race bike. The V4's power delivery would really stand out from the I4's.)

Others would like to see a 1000cc version of the 5th/6th gen sport-touring package. Others really like the new 1200. Some think it all went downhill after the 4th generation (1994-19997), the last of the 750's. So, it's quite wrong to see the VFR community as monolithic in terms of what they want.

Personally, I wouldn't mind having one of the 1200's but the 800 serves my needs just fine. I would really like to ride one of the 1200's with the dual clutch transmission. Everyone pans it, except for the people who have actually ridden one, and those people have given it very good reviews. As with any new technology, there are the diehards who refuse to consider anything new but Honda is ahead of the technology curve with the new VFR, just as they were with the original Interceptor. Radically new things are always difficult for people to accept.

no offense intended. I guess my point was directed more towards the first two categories rather than the third.

I bet that Honda has almost no vibration. Do you know anyone that has one in person?

None taken at all. I've been around long enough to know that people have all sorts of opinions, I have mine, and they don't necessarily have to agree. Some in the VFR community agree with you, wanting a 1000cc version of the current 800, mainly those wanting to do more than occasional 2-up riding.

For sgt775, here is the pic hosted on my site. The other is probably blocked by the DoD firewall:

Ok, what VFR is this picture of? I've seen it too many times not to know anymore.

It's a concept shot of a modern RC30, aka VFR750R. If Soichiro were alive, this would already be on showroom floors and winning races on the track.

    Edit: Pic of the original:

    It was, and thank you.

Speaking of V-4's though, how come there's been no mention of this baby so far? Talk about drop dead sexy...

I like 'em both! Good job Kawi and Honda......if they produce them. I also agree with Salsa, that the VFR he's talking about is hideous.....

yeah, i've been looking for a new ride, as I'm so tall the r6/1 aggressive forward riding position plays hell with my back and of course I smash my knees into the frame constantly. That's why I like my 11, and I'm guess I'd like this one too
