Haven't seen that before but I know Dianese makes an airbag suit be prepared to spend a left nut for it though.

RS Taichi makes the T-Raps system for both riding jackets and thier leather race suits. They have actually made it affordable technology for those looking for better head/neck protection in case of a get off.

They've been researching them for years now. To be honest, I have no idea how well they would work.
That jacket didn't inflate anywhere near fast enough. It needs to fill in milliseconds to be of use. FAIL!

"...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

I was also thinking about the speed of the inflation. It uses a air pistol CO2 cartridge. The bags are reuseable, which is nice, and all you have to is buy another cartridge which are cheap incase of an accidental inflation. You know your buddy would harass you and inflate yours to piss you off...
My thoughts are even if it's not fully inflated, it would still provide some protection smacking the ground. Problem is that the neck area would probably inflate last. Maybe in a high side, your "flight time" would be long enough to inflate fully. Joking, but some truth to it...
The time to inflate this vest definitely makes it unuseable unless you fly off your bike and land in a lake. I can't remember the review including any notes about using it for a floatation device, so that may not work either. A car airbag actually takes only 22 milli-seconds to inflate (0.0022 versus 0.5000). Traveling at 75 mph, you would need to be impact free during an accident for a distance of roughly 60 feet once you've left the bike and the teather had started the inflation process.
Brakes are simply a means for expressing fear.
Isn't this one of those threads that was killed in the reboot? I swear we've had one or two threads on this type of jacket before...

Because the video shows a guy on a Hardley, shouldn't it be a "Hair-Bag Jacket"?
