    At least they are acknowledging the fact that there are other potential explanations than just the war. I find it odd that they are including suicide as a risky or adrenaline seeking type behavior... seems to me that these are two entirely separate issues stemming from a whole slew of different etiologies.

    I don't think they are necessarily equating suicide with "risky behavior" rather just adding it in as one of the reasons to pursue the study. I for one say it's about bloody time. Too many people still consider psychology "voodoo" and quasi-science but we are using up our troops mentally much faster then we are physically to hold onto that nonsense.
