    Bike Wash

    Anyone know if it is bad to wash your bike engine parts at spray car wash with the tire/engine cleaner? Didn't know if it might be to harsh.

    I dont think it should be an issue, I wash mine all the time at those type of places. Considering it is feasible that bikes can function in rain when necessary, than a simple wash should hurt. I would think your main concern would be to properly dry, then lube in areas afterwards, especially the chain.

    It IS harsh. Just make sure you rinse very thoroughly.
