that made me sweat just watching...nice find! I think instead of climbing down, i'd just rather jump w/ a parachute.

Re: Brings new meaning to "climbing the corporate ladder"

I'm not afraid of heights, but that was a bit stressful to watch.

I wonder how much sway they encounter at that height?

Oh ya, not a good idea to watch if you're prone to motion sickness - the helmet cam moves around a lot.

    FUCK.

I'm neutral when it comes to heights (I'm fine at heights, just not when I'M the only thing holding me up there) and that was a "holy shit" film...

I guess something happened, you might as well enjoy the ride down since you're not gonna feel a thing anyway...

Worked for a tree company when I was younger and while I really hate heights I'm fine as long as there is stuff around me. I was all about it until he went outside the cage....then, nope, I'm done.

Do not put off living the life you dream of. Next year may never come. If we are always waiting for something to change...
Retirement, the kids to leave home, the weather or the economy, that's not living. That's waiting!

I couldn't even watch the whole thing. If it were up to me there would be no radio - because I am not going to climb that thing ever.

Yeah I caught that part to. I thought it rather humorous since OSHA regulates the piss out of everything a company does, but oh no, some guy is climbing 1700 straight up with no safety harness connection and they think it's o.k. HAHAHA!! I hate OSHA by the way.

Re: Brings new meaning to "climbing the corporate ladder"

I would give it a try I think, if I didn't have to lug all the tools and such behind me. I couldn't stand the possibility of my own thoughts contemplating extra shit aside from just taking the next rung. The harness and the safety clip setup, I would be all for, just not a whole lot else. I would quintuple-knot my shoelaces.

If it were windy at all, it would be maddening.
