    Colorado Springs Bike Events

Tomorrow I will be cleaning my motorcycle garage. You are more than welcome to come help!

Thats all the events I know about. But I don't keep close tabs on social stuff, being anti-social and what not.

    Re: Colorado Springs Bike Events

Hi, Megan, the only two major events in the Springs that I know of are:

    1) Tejon Street Bikefest - late June, www.pro-promotions.com (I can't get to this site at work, so I'm not sure if it has been updated). This is pretty fun- all kinds of bikes and artwork and vendors!

    2) Pikes Peak International Hill Climb FanFest - also late June, www.usacracing.com/ppihc. It's not purely motorcycle-related, but Ducati had a great booth last year, and there was some stunt stuff towards the later part of the evening... and oh yeah, a firefighter chili cookoff!!

As for bike nights and such, we Southies seem to be an informal bunch. So post up if you go out, or check the regional Dirty South threads!!

As a separate event, or taking place within one of the events mentioned above?

Either way, keep us posted. Especially if you or other CSC-ers take part!

    Megan,

Here are a couple of lists that cover Colorado. Of course there is over-lap between the lists but there does appear to be differences.

    Re: Colorado Springs Bike Events

I don't know of any that are specific to sport bikes, other than events arranged on this site.

    Re: Colorado Springs Bike Events

This is an update to one of my earlier posts. Looks like the dates of the events I mentioned above are:

Friday, JUNE 24: Pikes Peak Hillclimb Fanfest. Again, not purely motorcycle-related, but still a super fun event for downtown CS. Last year Ducati had a large booth, and there was also a dirtbike stunt show.

Sunday, JUNE 26: Tejon Street Bikefest. ALL kinds of bikes and vendors.

OTHER: Pro-promotions lists their bike events calender HERE.

    Re: Colorado Springs Bike Events

Tejon Bikefest is very cruiser-centric, but it's still an open minded crowd.

    The PP Fanfest is AWESOME.

The riders, bikes, cars, and drivers are there. But they usually have a stunt show a few times that night with the ramps and the guys doing some high flying stuff. Very cool.

The missus and I set up camp at Sam's the World's smallest bar (if it is still there) and watched a few interations of it. Highly reccomended.

    Some pics from 09;

The race is also pretty cool to watch as well.
