Anyone want to trand land speed racing?

I'm wanting to head out to Loring Maine on July 15-17 for their land speed event. They have the longest available track (1.5miles vs 1 mile of Maxton/Texas) minus not running at the salts of Bonneville. Anyone interested in taking their car/bike and seeing what you can do? Would be great to get a few guys to carpool and share some fuel/hotel costs.
