Alexanian is known for filming Ewan McGregor’s unforgettable motorcycle trips across the world, in the series Long Way Round and Long Way Down, and he has created a wonderful record of the Marleys’ trip and its meaning to them, in part through personal interviews and tour diaries.

Elixir Films announces deal with the Discovery Network for Marley Africa Roadtrip series


The 6 x 60 minute series is being executive produced by David Alexanian, who also directed the production. Alexanian said today “We’re enormously excited to be working with Discovery EMEA, it is a great fit for the series”. Discovery Networks EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) was established in 1989 with the launch of Discovery Channel. Today, 13 networks brands reach 217 million cumulative subscribers across 105 countries.

We're stuck with Senior and Junior building ridiculous monstrosities, a bunch of rednecks blowing crap up in the bayou while their equally gunpowder happy counterparts fly a helicopter around Denver buying up gun collections and engraving their name on everything that isn't bolted down, bone heads digging glory holes in the Klondike and Bear Grylls figuring out just how many ways one can drink their own urine...
