MRA Corner Marshals,

The first race of the 2005 Season is next weekend!!

This event will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

We usually don't run on Friday, however Ralph would really appreciate it if you can be there on Friday.

Pueblo Motorsports Park -- Track Length - 2.25 miles

29 Apr (Fri) Open Practice All Day

30 Apr (Sat) Open Practice AM
3 Road Races, 3 Motard Races

1 May (Sun) Full Race Schedule:
Practice AM and 16 Road Races

--Show time is 7:00am each day (Please be on time)

This is the first full race weekend of the 2004 season. The Pueblo track always provides an exciting show as the bikes get to run wide open on the 2.25 mile course. We'll be busy as the fresh novices find their way around the course in their first event of the year and returning riders get re-acclimated to the racetrack.

--- We need all of you at Pueblo! ---
Due to the longer length and openness of the track at Pueblo we really need maximum participation at these events. The extra distance between turns makes it critical that all corners be fully staffed.

Remember:

--You can get hotel reimbursement for Friday and Saturday Night

Directions to Pueblo Motorsports Park:

From I-25, take US-50 (Exit 101) Go West about 2.7 miles to the intersection with Pueblo Boulevard (Route 45), then take Pueblo Boulevard south about 1/3 mile.

The track entrance is on the west side of the road just past the small 'Motorola' building. You must have a certain amount of faith, since there is nothing visible except the (paved) access road and a steel archway. Stay on the paving and follow the access road around and up and down (continued faith is required) about 1.5 miles to the road course entrance.

Lodging Information:

To make it easier to attend both days, you may wish to stay in Pueblo on Friday and Saturday night. There are a couple of options:

1) You may camp in the pit area at the track for free.

2) If you wish to stay in a hotel/motel, the MRA will reimburse each person $35 for lodging on Friday or Saturday night if you work the following day. If you share a room with a one or two people this should cover your expenses.

Don't wait to make reservations, many of the MRA riders report that the hotels fill up fast.

Only if you work the morning. Please be there at 7, and dress like you're gonna be out there for a while. No red or yellow, bring gloves.
