Wind Sucks!

Maybe I'm just a coward, but I sure don't feel in control in conditions like today.

I made a run on my bike down into Denver today on the super-slab. 75 mph road speed combined with a gusty, 90 degree, 50 or 60 mph crosswind was not fun. I was thinking a steering damper would sure be nice when the wobbling set in. On the way back, I finally just got off I-25 and went secondary roads the rest of the way home. It wasn't that bad when I left home just before noon, but I got worse as I headed south.

Other than that, it sure did feel good to get the bike out and ride a bit.

Ug...wind not for the win, but thanks to Sasch and a very long ride through Utah, I'm very good at it. It's always good to go blow the cobwebs off the bike.

Wind really came out of nowhere about noonish. I was on Hwy 93 in the Durango later on and was glad not to be on two wheels today

I've gotten used to it and it doesn't bother me much any more.
