MOTO GP 2011 PREDICTIONS

My predictions for this upcoming season. (based off of test results)

1. Stoner - after testing Stoner continues to go fast by setting the fastest lap times, he has found something in that Honda that he has not been able to at Ducati

2. Pedrosa - Guy is fast off launch and knows how to lead a race, he is right behind Stoner in times.

3. Lorenzo - what can I say the man is fast, but he is going to have a hand full with Hondas Stack team.

4. Spies - Being a consistent rookie last year on a satellite bike says a lot, now he has factory parts, I have a feeling He may shake up this championship season and maybe dethrone some of my top 3 picks.

5. Rossi - As much a I want to see "The Doctor" take another championship the complications in testing shows that Rossi has not come to terms with his DUC. Also coming off of surgery and not to his peak fitness will in nature give Rossi a diffcult season.

Stoner is crash prone no matter what mfg he rides.

It really depends if Honda is allowed to use their cheater clutch system this year. If not Honda will be slower than they were in testing. I'm might be dreaming but I'm thinking

I want to see Rossi and Hayden tame the ducks, but I wouldn't put money on it. I think Hayden will be back in top standings when they go back to 1000s. I'd almost be willing to bet that Rossi's sandbagging the practice days to keep the off season drama alive. I honestly believe that guy could be competitive on a Royal Einfeld.

I've always liked Stoner... Aussie Aussie Aussie! But with him and Pedrosa as team mates, every track is going to end up smeared in Repsol colors.

I think Lorenzo is still going to shine on the Yamaha this year and Spies will be a contender.

I really want to see Pramac become competitive this year... regardless of who's on them.

In the end, well... I'm not saying. I think everything's up in the air this year and no one rider of team is going to run away with the championship. I'm just excited to watch! Hell, I may have to scrimp up some money and get back out to Indy again this year...

1. Stoner - as long as he doesn't crash or get "sick" again
2. Lorenzo - Yamaha can't beat the Honda on the straight
3. Pedrosa - always a bridesmaid, he doesn't do well under pressure
4. Dovi - fast and underestimated
5. Rossi - the Duc will get sorted - unfortunately, it won't happen until probably Laguna
6. Spies or Simoncelli - both are hungry, but it's hard to beat the Aliens

Last Place: Crutchlow - I think he's in for a long season

Honestly, I have no idea what's going to happen. To many drastic changes to make solid predictions. I'm hoping Dovi/Spies is top 5, stoner/pedrosa top 10. Rossi/Jorge will be top 3 at the end.

Shinya Nakano will make a triumphent return for Kawasaki mid way through the season and win every race for the rest of the year. Often lapping his competition in the process. He will beat Lorenzo by 1 pt at the final race at Valencia while only riding on the rear tire.
