    Track days?

So besides thursdays at SCR, when are some other track days at different tracks? Cus i really really want to start learning how to ride! If someone could email me at z32nismo@comcast.net with specifics that would be awsome. Oh and if anyone is willing to take a rookie out and teach him something that would be sweet as well. thanks

Actually the only way to ride PPIR unless you have big $$$$ or race.

here are your local tracks http://www.mra-racing.org/index.cfm?action=where. With the exception of PPIR, they are all generally open during the week and can be ridden for a minimal amount of $$$.

Hey if you wanna cover my track fee I'll go roundy round with ya, for awhile Otherwise I would just watch the board for a track day and show up, somebody will give you some pointers, just ask and people will answer your questions.

If you've never been on a track before, you may want to also consider IMI. It's relatively small, and you may have to share the track with go-karts, but it's pretty good to learn on (IMHO). It's also pretty cheap (was $20 for all day).

Here's some more info on that & some other tracks: http://www.cosportbikeclub.org/local/tracks.html

It's $25 for all day now, but still good for getting your feet wet.
