Blame 1badsvt for that poorly thought out idea!

Like I said, just gather up all the roadkill you can and jam it in that pipe and it'll be all good because it'll be quieter and it'll smell like a redneck BBQ.

Gary, thank John (BadR6Man). He set the whole thing up! I only collected phone numbers from the Northies to have an excuse to stalk ya'll. Sorry for missing introducing myself to some of you as there were so many of us to talk to!

I'll have my pics up later today. Lots of bikes and good people... and fun! Thanks for coming down to the Springs.

Thanks to the Dirty Southerners whom put this very interesting ride on. When we got back into our neck of the woods, us northies were commenting on how each and everyone of us had at least one small incident. In my case, larger; as close as a person can get to crashing without actually going down. I strongly recommend staying off of sandy shoulders in tight corners where a gaurdrail is present - my leathers went to "Def-Con brown". Anyway, thanks again. We'll have to give it another shot sometime, after the sand and wind have become a distant memory.

Special thanks to BadR6 for the "spirited" pace and lead from Westcliffe to wherever the hell we ended up (Cotapaxi?). Five of us northies had a nice ride from there - thru Cripple Creek, to Woodland, up Deckers, to 285 and home.

My incident was nothing like yours Dave. You had quite the adventure dirt trackin' it for a few feet there. Just a bit of squirrliness on some tar snakes mid corner...that's always a wake up.

Funny: I noticed one of the photos that caj07r6 took had me taking a picture of him as he stood on the stone fence at the Academy Shell station (my first two photos).

Sarah I didn't get to meet you any of the times we were standing around so at least now I know who you are when you start stalking the northies.

    Loved the pics.
