Shifter Question for Yamaha R1 (& R6) owners

The toe piece on my shifter is pretty loose - it's been this way for some time now. Not sure if it's related to any of my crashes, but I'm wondering if anybody else has experienced this. I've got an '02 with ~11K miles on it.

    Thanks.

I just looked at my '03 R1, 3100mi, and a guys '02 R6, 6000mi, and both look pretty solid. They appear to be the same shifters, but neither of them have any play at all in the toe part.

Thanks. I took the rearset off this weekend to examine it. Despite being loose, it doesn't look like it's going anywhere anytiime soon. Maybe I'll use some JB Weld to fill the gap and keep it from moving around.
