    Ride Saturday 4/9/11

Should be 65 degrees. Will be at the MoCo at 930. Someone tell Mark that there's a ride!

I rode to Deckers again today...albeit in a friggin' Lincoln Town Car =/. 'Twas a nice sight-seein' trip with the family, though. My wife took a ton of pictures with her new DSLR. Even had the dogs with us. Ridiculously windy most of the time, though. =)

Went down via Deer Creek Rd, but took 67 back. Even took the 15-ish mile dirt rode most of it back just before Sedalia. A grand day.

You haven't had fun until you ride that 15 mile dirt stretch to Sedalia by mistake. I was being pokey a few years ago and lost the group. Knew we had to turn down a short dirt road to Sedalia. So I turned on the 1st dirt road with signs to Sedalia. Didn't know I had to turn down the 2nd dirt road to Sedalia... Heh. 15ish miles of dirt on the equivalent of a newb ride. The looks I was getting from the ATV riding country folk up there were precious.

I did that from Sedalia to Deckers on a Harley about 3 years ago. I was solo. Good times!

LOL! I would NOT want to be on that road on my bike. A 4-wheeler would be a blast, and I imagine a dirt bike would be solid fun. But I'm OUT on a street bike--the car was slow enough.
