Million Dollar Highway - Most Dangerous?

Didnt realize their was a show about this stretch of road. Seems a little dramatic to me but what the hell.

Only did that once but it was a BLAST! There are some serious dropoffs though, where if you fucked up...........you'd better have a parachute.

pretty sure it's been discussed in another thread. That show is way over-dramatic and I won't watch it anymore.

    couple hours.

    www.maps.google.com

It was on the news last night where a guy went off the road and the car crashed in flames at the bottom. He managed to escape with burns.

Interesting video. I have ridden 550 at least 10 times and only died once.

As far as I am concerned it is the BEST road in Colorado.

A great road, but not THE BEST. Somewhere in here was a recent thread about it and other great twisties.

^^^ that no one can publicly disclose...

I would say that 550 has some of the best views...but its not the best road...saw a guy on a bonnie take the quick way down 2 years ago...never followed up to see if they found him though...

I'm gonna go a few times if I can get some people to share a room at the resort. Or worst case, a cabin at GJ KOA if I have to go solo or with another 1-2 riders... which is not really a bad thing...

We've ridden that together, and I think the night before was the only time I've had the distinct honor to go to a "cabaret" bar with you.

If we're talking about the same cruiser that dropped off the road, yes, Eric (powers) and I saw the guy. I shot down the road to find a cell signal while Eric clambered down approx 90ft to get to the rider. Ambulance showed up later. Dude survived.
