No idea. I was originally gonna stop by the great indoors over at park meadows first for the weekly Cars & Coffee prior to the MOCO meet.

I checked the weather this morning and while the forecast isn't as friendly as it was the other day I say to keep checking the first post for updates. Worst case scenario, uless it's physically raining tomorrow morning, I'll still be there.

Only a 10% chance of rain tomorrow at all. Fairly good odds as far as I'm concerned.

If it's raining turn around and go home and do it on a nicer day.

Riding in the rain is a miserable experience if you are not equipped to do so, it can also be terrifying to an inexperienced rider. I got caught in a rainstorm last year with my wife, whom I am teaching to ride. It was a terrible experience for her. If it would not have been for our bluetooth communication and me being able to talk to her through out the squall she would have been in a complete panic.
It is easy for the more experianced rides to blow it off, but that isn't who this is catering to.

I totally agree with Buelller... to someone who has never experience rain before, it can be really frightening and put them in panic mode. I have seen this happen on more than one occasion

NOAA is calling for only 10% chance of thunderstorms tomorrow. They seem to always be pretty freaking accurate! Tomorrow is shaping up to be fawkin beautiful!

Rain isn't as big of a deal as people make it out to be. The majority of Coloradans think it's snowing and there's ice on the roads, when it's 100 degrees out and pouring rain, so they slow to 50% of the speed limit, and stick to the left lane to make sure nobody else can go faster.

Take turns slowly, and with less lean angle. Brake accordingly. The worst is the first few minutes after it rains, but being that it's rained like fucking crazy the last week, that's not an issue.

All this talk of rain reminded me of a short ride into Boulder last summer.... I kid you not, dry road, and 1.5" of standing water on the other side of the wall of water.... 15min of FURY! I've been soaked before, but this particular instance was sopping wet squish squish like in 30 seconds flat! It was intense!

Yes, it's totally possible to ride safely in the rain... no, it's not a good idea to lead a bunch of noobs onto wet roads. Seems as though it will be a moot point anyway.

    Only if they're Yamahas.

Right now there's only a 10% chance of an evening shower. Less than there was today and today wasn't too bad until after 3PM.

As far as I'm concerned, right now the ride's still on.

This is my first ride with this group. I am planning on being there! Hopefully, the rain won't come until the afternoon. That is my guess anyway!!!!
