    Deleting Threads

I have read the Guidelines, Etiquette, and Posting rules for the forum, but none of them were a legitimate reason for Wolfeyez' thread to get deleted (along with Longrider's sub-thread). Seems like it was taken down for personal reasons. Mother Goose was the only visible admin online at the time. Fairly disappointed in the actions taken, so what's going on here?

Shit....have you met me? I'm the furthest thing from a ninja.

I am, however, watching you now.

I understand locking threads, but deleting them just seems fishy. Should probably lock this one now before the trolls come matching in. Thanks.

It was moved to a safe place. Sometimes just removing the drama entirely is the best play. A decade of running this place has demonstrated that more times than I can count.

While I agree with Rybo, that was some good old fashioned CSC entertainment.

No, it's better than that. I have multiple ceiling cats in my employ that reliably report back the goings on. Will has had one dispatched to his location.

Snowman is the only member that can successfully escape this kind of surveillance for part of the year. Cats HATE the South pole.

    Re: Deleting Threads

What's going on here is that the thread that was deleted was no longer between any of the parties actually involved. I took the thread down because it was not going anywhere.

Longrider's followup thread was deleted at his own request in the post I made.

If you're disappointed I'm sorry, but I've been to this rodeo before and can say with a high degree of confidence that nothing good was going to come out of it.

The Seller, the sellers representative, the original poster and the eventual buyer need to square this up amongst themselves.

I will also add that Rybo was consulting with me when he did it, and I support his decision. We were online, but like ninjas, are invisible.

I would have appreciated a lock as I think it is important information for people to know. Otherwise I am sorta giving up on doing anything about it.

On another note. Thanks for the thread Vellos. Ive been hoping to ride with you someday, since someone from down south recommended you back on the noob ride down there.

Know what? It was 3 pages of drama with little substance. Sorry but it is what it is.

    Re: Deleting Threads

I will back Scott up on this, I put my comment in his thread which made more sense than a separate thread so I asked hinm to delete my thread. However I would have locked the original thread rather than deleting it, and yes I do have experience in this as I am an admin in other motorcycle forums.

Now we should be thankful as another (non motorcycle) forum I am active in you could get banned for questioning moderators decisions in public.

Shit, I just gave the mods an idea...

I have always questioned both Scott and Ralph's decisions in public. They have both chosen to associate with ME on a non professional level, without bias or prejudice, and I have photographs to prove it. That indicates they both make bad decisions.
