Sucks though it may, you're complaining about people who make no money. It's hard (not impossible) to find someone who invests themselves in their work for $10/hr.

If the job qualifications are so simple, and yet the employees are flat-out losing customers, they should get fired. CO Powersports could rehire people less idiotic in a flash, but I'm fairly sure they seek out the morons on purpose.

Sounds like they do a lot of talking out of their asses. My girlfriend would fit in perfectly over there.

So strange that the same guy has talked me out of gear and parts on two different occasions. Really odd that he thinks so highly of his own opinion to claim all others are invalid. He will never get another chance. Found his card... well... someone else's card with his name scribbled... "Andy"
Chris and I have traded a couple emails and he's putting together the order for me. Seems like a really good guy.
Do you have any idea how hard it is these days to get fired/fire someone? Clearly not.
No they can't. The vast majority of people looking for jobs (not to mention willing to settle for almost no money) are going to be the complete idiots in society who nobody else wants. Then out of that group you have to find someone knowledgable in motorcycles which the vast majority of people aren't.
This rule applies to fast food, auto parts, etc. All we can do is keep looking until we find someone competent/deserving of our hard earned money. I guess this Chris guy is doing a pretty good job?
Spot on. I assume you are talking about staffing your own business.
One would think that this economy would provide tons of hungry well qualified applicants. Everyone wants jobs, but nobody wants to settle. It takes a LOT of looking to find quality people.
My line of work doesn't pay great, but it's good, honest work. Staffing is always a challenge, sometimes it feels like I'm competing against unemployment pay.

I cant remember the last time I went to a stealership..... They are slowly working themselves out of a job and necessity all together... I like local shops like Epic, Faster, 303, Pero, etc..... Stay the hell out of those places... and you will much less stress in life..
I know its hard to be a parts guy and have your own opinions... unfortunately if the cust doesnt ask, you should keep your mouth shut and sell them what they ask you for...

Hiring people is the least favorite part of my job. Ive gone through plenty of "morons" my self. Running a profitable business is extremely hard. Im always amused with people who think they know how to run my business better then I do. There are a lot of unseen factors that the public doesnt see...

i bought a lens for my helmet at the one on 104th and when i got home it had a few scratches that i would always noticed. so i took it back and they gave me a more expensive one at the same price and gave me the scratched one for free since they said they wouldnt try and sell it again. I like the one on 104th but have never been to the boulder one cause of all the horror stories!
