Very nice. I love KTM's. I think they only play death metal at the assembly plant and all the workers are angry because those are some wicked nasty bikes. Love love love my 520 EXC.

    Re: My New precious.....

Did all of the "new to me bike" stuff:
    Grips
    Aluminum Throttle tube
    oil and oil filters
    Air filters

    Up next:
    Tires
    chain
    guards

But first things first I'm headed to ether berthoud or IMI monday!
    Any suggestions?
This is my first KTM and after being a Yammawhore for years it was nice finding a bike that felt like it just fit.

I checked out a 525 but that was a lil much, just need to get use to a 4 speed now. I keep wanting to kick it up into 5th.

    Awesome!

I've ridden a 450 EXC out in Moab a bunch and loved it. Enjoy!

Yeah, the 520/525 pull the front wheel off the ground (not on purpose) just off throttle in gears 1 through 4, and that is even with my big ass sitting on the gas tank.

"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self- preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property, and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

    Re: My New precious.....

Yea I pulled the 450 high on the test ride and I dont think the dude liked it but half way back to the guys house I knew this was the one. Checked out 13 different bikes off of cl and was going to get a 07 cr450 but had to ride this one first.

The KTM just fit my big ass so well and was sooo much cleaner than the others I checked out I had to have it. Last bike I had was a 01 yz426 and the thing felt like a tank and turned like one too, cracks me up I sold my 426 in 08 for $1,500 and they still have them on cl for more money.

    Thankgod
I know I hated when i sold mine but I was planing to upgrade and almost 2 years later I finally did. Shit will always come up thats why its best to do it asap. Same with my R1, sold it to clear some debt to get my Security Clearance and 4 years later still no street bike.
