I remember a really funny article in one of the motorcyclist mags years ago where they showed how to scuff your tires up with 80-grit sandpaper, and a wood rasp. Then they said to complete the "fast guy" look, you'd get some black silicone RTV and put it on the edges of your tires to make it like the rubber was all balled up like a race take-off. It was hilarious.

I need to find some pearl blue spraypaint for the edges too, to give it that good "heat-cycled" look!
