Perhaps his screen name would explain his question?

It's perfect if your wife insists on an Jeep(or SUV in general), but you want an M5 wagon! Tada!

Love the SRT. Absolutely abhor that hideous bonnet.

Its to each their own I know. I grew up with the idea you buy a pickup truck your a working man and need it to haul stuff around, you buy an SUV (well when they originally came out) you got 4x4 option because well why you buying it otherwise!!! It was how I was brought up. Those vehicles handled certain task and you bought them for their use. i like knowing I can hop curbs, been there done that a lot in MI when I had the Explorer to get from one lot to the other lot in shopping centers....I would not be doing that in a SRT8...and no doubt they are nice vehicle.

My wife is not like that, If I really wanted an M5 she be like okay it can still haul groceries and children just fine. I guess I have a cool wife, she agrees we will never need a minivan...why would we drive others peoples kids around that could not fit into a SUV or Crossover vehicle, or for that matter a car. Let those parents drive their own children around.

It wouldn't be half bad if it were painted to match...natural CF is more of a "Hey look at me!"

Otherwise, badass ride, I see it as performance and utility in one. Perfect combo.

Agreed on all accounts. I don't care for CF except on a race car. But I really would want the ability to drag an open trailer around for various errands.

It's extremely versatile, covering a number of different objectives in a single vehicle. And when that badass in his Corvette needs to get his ass beat, well I've got a Jeep that will happily oblige. It's great in the snow, turns 12s through the 1/4mi, carries groceries and anything else an average SUV can, the stereo kicks ass for a stock setup, and it's extremely comfortable even on long drives.

It's lowered 1.8" in the back, 1.3 in the front (Levels the stock rake), has stiffer sway bar end links, custom ram air, tune, Corsa exhaust, LEDs inside and out, and a few other minor things. As for the hood, I originally got it with the idea of painting it silver, but I kinda liked the CF so I've stuck with it for now. Recently though I've been considering going back to the stock hood.

I build custom turbo kits and headers in my off time, and I think I'm going to build a twin turbo kit for it in the coming year or 2.

I think 5,000....? I don't know or care, I've got nothing to tow. They make a couple aftermarket hitches for it, and it'll tow as much as a normal Grand Cherokee. But mine, with the drop springs and lack of a hitch, is not setup for that.
