North Meets South Link Up

Alright Southies. After talking with some of the Northies today here is the meet up for tomorrow:

When: 1100
Where: Sonic (On 8th St off of Cimarron)
KSU: 1115

Riding up to Deckers to link up with some of the Northies, and then heading on to our Final Destination (http://www.cosportbikeclub.org/forum...ad.php?t=39680) through the canyons, for the Annual North Meets South Ride.

This is one of my last rides as a Southie, so hope to see some of y'all tomorrow. If not, it's been good times.

Haha, no not really, a couple spots past Deckers. The only thing to worry about going to Deckers, is the first 6 miles of newly fresh tar snakes.

Hi Kat,
I do not think there will be rain according to weather.com. It will be windy,esp in the Springs area. But for example, in Idaho Springs, where we're going, it will be sunny, in the 60s and they removed the "windy" as of noon. What kind of bike do you ride? If it is the 250, you could get blown around a little going up to Woodland Park.
As to tires, what is your specific concern? Whether you have enough profile left? Air? Come out and we can all have a look. At a minimum, we'll get to meet.

I still plan on being at Sonics.

You know they are good to go when they are nice and toasty warm and sticky to the the touch. LOL.

Just make sure your tire pressures are good. Ususally 32 front and rear for street riding and that there is plenty of tread left. I will bring my tire pressure guage with me.

Most likely the R6. I gotta scuff the tires in so I don't go sliding on my back again. Besides, I rode my other 2 bikes last weekend. Gotta rotate the rides and make sure they all run.

Yeah the ole FJ burns a little of oil. I try to ride in the back of the pack to keep everyone else behind my from passiing out from the fumes.

Kat, if you take it slow through that part youll be fine, if you feel your front tire pull slightly, just slow down.

As for weather, i checked all through the areas we will be in and it looks for a grrrreat day for riding. Looks to be in the low 70s in woodland park
