A ride up Bear Creek Canyon

I was riding up Bear Creek when another rider tucked in behind me. He later pulled up along side and signaled me to pull over and we talked a bit. He informed me he had video of the run up the canyon. He put this together and was kind enough to share it with me. I make my appearance around 1:08.

If you look @ credits the name of the videographer may be familiar to some of the longtime members.

Nice vid! I have not ridden there and looking at it there is hardly room for error.

Watch out for the diminishing radius corner going up. It got me all the time, but not anymore!

It is not any worse than many of the other canyon roads except this one is usually pretty clean and the pavement is in good shape throughout. The Morrison cops can be a pain in the lower part where there is a ridiculously slow speed limit, and they don't tolerate the "warming/cleaning" up the tires routine and will give you a weaving ticket.

Wow, that's a cool video. I've not done BCC this year, guess maybe it's time to head back out there (and hopefully hit it when there's not 10,000 bicyclists on it like I always seem to encounter).

I tucked in between Bueller and a two-up KLR. He took the que and delivered the "lines" well.
