I rock BMW Summer Gloves that have Gauntlets. 100% of the time.

foam flip flops on the back of my hand-- just use the loops between your fingers! i get wrist protection from bugs or rocks being thrown by other bikers at me--- not bulky!---plenty of ventilation! plus with them on the back of my hands i can feel the pegs better with my bare feet!--also less chance of them blowing off my feet if they're on my hands---duh
