    Southern Colorado Springs Hotels

Hoopty and I are lookin to book our room for the AMA races and since we are going to be working the races we want to be closer to track then where the Embassy Suites is located. So does anyone know of any hotels that are on the South side of the springs and are still pretty nice??? Thanks!!

I don't know about nice, but the Howard Johnson was only $36 a night for two beds/ppl. It's east off exit 140.

The Courtyard Marriott is on the south end of the Springs. Last time I stayed there it was $90-$100 per night, but you had your choice of a private patio or a hot tub IN the room.

Not sure how much you were looking to spend.

There are a bunch off of Circle Drive on the south end where lots of AMA people stay: La Quinta, Fairfield (Marriot), Residence Inn (also Marriot). They are on Geyser Drive. There is also one out on Circle Drive (Harrison acutally). That is probably the Super 8.

Also, the North Pueblo motels are about the same distance and cheaper. You don't get that Colorado Springs vibe though

Some hotels are sold out, so you may need to call around.

I can also definitely say NOT to stay at the Super 8 off Hwy 50 in Pueblo! The one off Elizabeth is probably ok, but the Hwy50 one SUCKS ASS!!
