    Honda Help in Foco

In an attempt to bend back a bent peg on my Honda 599 I cracked it. I did not think ahead and now have screwed up my daily commuting and riding till I find a replacement. Does anyone have a pair of fold up style pegs off a Honda 600/1000 laying around I could buy? I think they are all interchangeable. Does anyone know if any of the local shops would have something in stock? Thanks!

I think the pass pegs are different, at least they are on the 599. Thanks for the offer though!

you might be able to get aftermarket pegs to hold you over, I doubt the dealer would have a factory one in stock, but couldn't hurt to call I-state Honda.

a non-honda one might even be able to be drilled to hold you over

Interstate Honda reopened. Or at least, they were supposed to open this last weekend.

Could you post a picture of what you've got -- I have a few different older pegs that may hold you over.

Not on your list, but it might work until you find a proper replacement (from an NT650)

    Re: Honda Help in Foco

I rode to work with it after jumping on it and determining it won't explode right away. Took it all apart once I got there and found it was cracked totally through both sides. Ended up throwing on a passenger peg that fit decent enough for the ride home...and a side trip around the reservoir I ordered some Competition Werkes pegs from Ryan over at Fort Collins Motorsports. The pair of those was only a few dollars more than an oem replacement from Interstate Honda. Thanks for the help guys. Hopefully the new pegs work out well. I am curious to see what how they ride going from rubber style pegs.

having one bike with rubbers, and the other without, I can only tell a difference after a couple hundred miles...it could also just be the gsxr (metal pegs) has more vibrations in general over my rolling couch
