    MotoGP Round 5 (Spoiler)

No round 5 thread? I just watched it. Not the most exciting race ever, but good none the less.

    Spies on the podium!!!!
Way to go! Finally he got a solid start and hung with it the whole time.

Stoner was riding his ass off! If he keeps it up, he'll pass Lorenzo next round in points and probably win the championship this year.

I was happy to see Marco take 5th. Maybe it'll knock his ego down a notch. I couldn't believe he got pole! Pretty impressive. His pass on Hayden was clean, but really, does every pass need to be that aggressive?

Edwards didn't start for the first time in 100+ races. Bummer.

There was a lot of talk on Eurosport about how Rossi should be in the front. They kept saying that Stoner was able to win races right away, but Rossi hasn't been able to. Do you think they are putting their efforts to next year, working more on development, then current racing? Or is Rossi just not what he used to be?

It definitely wasn't the most exciting race. I don't think there was a single pass after the second lap (yes, it's hyperbole, but you get my point).

In lap 22 DePuniet and Aoyama went down. I never did really see what happened. Apparently is was completely Aoyama's fault.

It's pretty sad that DePuniet has crashed 4 out of 5 races. At least Loris kept the rubber side down the whole time.

In the replay, they only show them sliding, not what caused them to go down. The Speed guys were saying Aoyama had his hand raised as if to say, "My fault," but I wanted to see what he did to cause the crash.

I really think that ducati is concentrating more on next year than the current year. Don't know how I feel about that right now. I'm sure i'll be happy about it next year though.

Yeah, I'd say he's getting a feel for the old gal.
