Hopefully, they'll get it next time.

That's like having someone come into your house, steal all your shit and complain that they got the rugs dirty doing it--the graffiti is probably the least of all the bullshit they did that will stick in anyone's mind...

The graffiti was of a fallen rider's name. The whole thing was dedicated to the fallen rider it seems.

While I don't really agree with what they did, I'm not exactly bothered or angered by it. So what they slowed someone down for 4 minutes, but luckily no one got hurt.

    Insert Tactical Facepalm pic here.

Any group that does this shit are a bunch of selfish, arrogant fucktards with no regard for the safety of anyone else on the road. As mentioned in another recent thread here about a similar group of assholes in the St. Louis area if I remember, shutting down a freeway like this is dangerous for all the other motorists. How many times have you seen accidents caused by the slowdown from an accident up ahead? what if a person is in an ambulance and dies because these fucktards prevented him from getting to the hospital? In areas where this crap happens the cops need to crack down on this brutally and without mercy. Confiscate all the bikes, and throw them all in jail.

Not only is this kind of behavoir make all the cops hate sportbikers and lump them all in the same category, but it makes the public, especially all those caught up in this (not just a "4 minute inconvenience" - stupid argument) hate us too. THIS is the reason assholes in pick-ups and the recent pontiac try to hit us. We'd better start policing ourselves before the gov't sees enough of this shit and does it TO us.

Yes, yes, it's not politically correct to lump sportbikers as one group of assholes, or lump all people of one race as XYZ based on an individual yadayada. Right or wrong, that's exactly what happens in the real world, and we'd better realize this.

    +1

No one remembers the 800 bikes they see daily that aren't fucking around, we're invisible to them. BUT, you hike a wheel and pass on double yellows and you've made a (negative) impression that they'll never forget--do it (collectively) enough times and you get backlash--usually against a rider that has nothing to do with the original incident.

Ya, I don't think that grandiose idea has ever worked.

Because, unlike real cops, we can't really do anything to police ourselves--assuming we wanted to, and most don't think we should...
