No we had just got past the tar snakes, it was the first turn. Took it wide, hit some gravel and proceeded to low side a beautiful bike. Thankfully they weren't hurt too bad. But on that note, those tar snakes are no joke. I HATE those damn things, whoever came up with tar snakes should be shot. Talk about dangerous

+1 fuck those tar snakes, who went down??
I don't want to put the riders on blast. I'm sure they will post about it. There may even be go pro footage from it.

glad nobody got hurt the bike can be repaired/replaced a person can't.
Glad everyone is all right, even if the bikes aren't. First heard about it from Concabar.
Terry (1badsvt), thanks a bunch for responding and then actually going out there to check on the riders. Sounds like there were quite a few phone calls of different people reaching out and confusion on where and who and what was going on, but it sounds like the logistics worked out in the end.

I like mountains because they make me feel small.
We all made it home, I presume. I was the last on to leave the site, just got home. Top it all off my rear seat flew off, so if anyone has one I can borrow till I replace it that would be great
Thanks Sarah, Eric, 1BadSvt and John for extending the help.

A lot more damage than I expected. When I was going off, the biggest obstacle I thought I'd be facing would be the 2ft ditch. But when I got closer I saw all the rocks I had to go through in the ditch lol. I saw rocks flying pass my head and one half the size of my head hit me. Helmet/Gear saved me. Either way I was prepared to go down, but damn if it had just been soft green grass my bike would be fine.
