    Wireless Radar Detector

The only good thing that I found at Cycle Fest was a wireless radar detector. You mount an escort on your windscreen and then attach the transmitter to it. You then have a little receiver inside your helmit and a small LED that mounts in your periferal vision. When the radar goes off, the light will flash in your helmit. Cost was about $175 plus the escort which was around $300. Very cool .... www.legalspeeding.com

Also available at www.motorcycleradar.com. They also have detectors, mounts, and a product called a Screamer, which is a 108dB warning thingy.

    Valentine 1. Period.

Anything else and it's like wearing a condom with a hole in it.

They really are that much better.

Can't afford it? Ride around paranoid until you can. Anything less and you'll just be thinking your protected. Really.

I have no affiliation with Valentine, I just used to own one, and it's the ONLY detector I would buy after using it.
