    Mulholland Highway Cali

I was looking at motorcycle crashes on youtube and noticed that there is ALOT of crashes on this road..I mean it looks very fun and technical but it seems everyone is testing themselves on it....

Anyone road this "snake" before??? I watch these for reality checks

There is a whole segment on this one piece of highway...nutz

ridden that stretch of road hundreds and hundreds of times.

There are only about 3 turns that have a decreasing radius that might bite ya. But the majority of it are people riding outside their limits. The road is similar to Deer Creek just a tad tighter.

That turn in the video always gets a lot of action. there's a lookout point just past it. Where a lot of people can rest and see the whole "snake" part of the road. Plus that turn has such a perfect radius and banking that it's almost impossible not to try and get a knee down.

I miss those roads... Anyone down for a road trip?!?!?!?!

I have heard horror stories of people deliberately putting stuff down on the road so they can film the carnage. Not sure if this actually happened or not, but just the thought of it kind of ruined it for me.

When i was riding Palomar back in 03/04, there were a few times where the residents would put rocks and bricks out in blind corners. One time someone purposely dumped oil in the lane. It's placement could not have been from a vehicle leaking oil, either. Fortunately there were always so many bikes riding up and down the mountain that you would get a heads up about it.

yep... that's why we would always do a scouting run up the hill first.
