    Re: RIP V4Whore

I only met Dave on a couple of occasions, and really only rode with him once on a great Deckers run. But I knew right away, that this was a guy I'd like to and be proud to be friends with. Also one of the few I'd trust to ride hard alongside of as he was a fast and seasoned rider.

I'm saddened to lose him as a new friend, especially as I'd hoped to know him better and ride with him more, and can only imagine the pain Gary is dealing with as he was there with him as one of his closest friends.

RIP Dave, Godspeed to you brother, and condolences to family and friends. You will be missed......

My thoughts and prayers are with Dave's family and friends.

I rode with Dave many times and always enjoyed conversing with him at lunch stops. He was a truly good man, and will be greatly missed. I'm going to miss seeing our 2 VFRs sitting together, like at the start of almost every group ride I've been on. I always aspired to ride at his level. RIP Dave

    fuck me.

I "met" Dave over at VFRworld. Introduced him to the CSC and rode with him twice. We traded PMs over at VFRW and chatted from time to time. I know he was in the process of exciting things and trying to get some work that would allow him to travel.

This one hits a little close for me

Gary posted this pic over on VFRW after a mild January ride earlier this year. I hope no one minds. Here's a pic of our friend doing what he loved - well the pic is mostly of the bikes but he managed to be captured as well.....

That was one of my first rides with Gary and Dave. That was a good day....just the 3 of us on our VFR's.
