I don't know if I did or didn't ride with Dave, but my condolences to his friends on here who've lost him.

Hopefully his daughter will eventually come to understand that she lost him while he was doing something he was passionate about. RIP rider and may some comfort find its way to his family/friends soon.

Here's some pics I took of our ride a month ago:

"...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

This one hits too close to home. I met Dave on a couple of rides and he went tubing with us. A great guy and I am saddened at his passing. Godspeed Dave.

And please don't take this the wrong way, Vellos. But jeans are not "just fine".
After Dave's comment on the "Canyon Carving: What to wear" thread I got myself full leathers and won't do a spirited run without them. His passing is tragic and I give my condolences to his friends and family. RIP.

Thanks for citing my album. That ride was so fun and I'm glad Dave got to hang out with us Dirty Southies at least once.

Dave, we never met that I know of...I wish we had as from the past 3 pages, you must have been a great dude.

As a side note...I don't want to die doing what I love, i'd rather just live my life and watch my kids grow into adults, and I'm sure he'd be thinking the same thing. RIP fellow rider...

Everyone this goes to show you that no matter how good a rider you are, bad things can happen...please slow down on the public roads and go fast at the track...for all of our sakes.
