    Hwy 67 to Cripple Creek

The road is. in a word, grainy! Seems like the first portion once you leave Woodland park is regular cracked concrete then it turns to what looks like packed sand and glass. There was pebbles everywhere and if you are behind a car they will peg you in the face for quit awhile. Turns back into the regular concrete right before the end. The crappy thing about it is the road is the same color as loose sand/gravel, be careful.

Here is my vid of it today...Just got a GoPro960 Monday (B-day present from wifey) shooting it in standard def just to see the difference between it and HD (Huge, stand def very grainy) and attached to the bike compared to the helmet (Extremely shaky on bike)

Coincidently I was on the VFR riding the Victor/Cripple Creek area today. There is a chip n seal layer from MM 58 to 64 on the CO 67 ascent to Cripple. Wasn't too bad, but I'll be glad when it firms up. Beautiful riding day up there.

67 south of Victor, the Phantom Canyon Road, is not paved. The dirt is easy, but if it hasn't rained in awhile, it can be a dusty transit. Very famous route however, and scenic too. The road is on the old train bed. The train would haul ores down to Canon City from the Victor/Cripple Creek mines, and bring supplies back up.
