Discount Concealed Carry Class For CSC Members Only

All of the members on this forum are eligible for discount pricing on our CCW concealed carry class, offered this Saturday from 9:00am to 2:00pm upstairs in the Grand Prix Motorsports building. We are offering the class for $99 instead of the regular $125 price for you guys - if anyone is interested, give us a call and we can get you registered! Make sure you mention that you are a member of this forum, and that you saw the special pricing!

I didn't take the class from this place but i recomend taking it for everyone. Even if you don't plan to get a ccw it is invaluable information. I personaly never ride without my ccw.

The class is a basic gun safety class - set up mainly for people who have already been shooting for a while. A lot of the class involves the state of Colorado laws surrounding the subject of concealed carry - and where you can and cannot shoot or carry. It's designed to give you basic information about carrying a weapon legally and safely.

I have not taken the class myself - but this is what the gun store tells me lol

Don't forget that after the class price ($99) there is an extra $150 that is paid to the state.

Is there range time as well? How many people in the class maximum? What are the qualifications of the instructor?

I took a class that was Sat/Sun and included range time qualification on one or more personal handguns and the cost was only slightly more.

I'm pretty sure if you have a military ID or proof you served you don't need to. I know for certain being AD removes this requirement.

I went through the CCW process last year and they did indicate that military does not need to take the course but that you would need to check with the county you are registering in.

Yes, like in El Paso you pay the $150 and do the finger prints and such.

The Fee varies by county, most are $152.50 (2 separate money orders required). The county can charge up to $100, the 52.50 is for the CBI. AD Military does not need to take the class, but it is recommended because a quality class covers carry law, use of force, and ROE. Honorably discharged vets need a DD214 that is less than 2 years old, or less than 10 years old with documentation of firearms qualification.

Humm....just talked with Casey at Grandprix. Not only has this class been cancelled due to a lack of interest but he knew nothing about the $99 dollar price. What gives?
