I definitely have them at Fay Myers, if by chance the pockets are empty next to the bulletin board just ask for me (Paul) at the parts counter

Not sure about Coyote, but I was in Grand Prix and Fay Myers this week and both have them. Sounds like the people answering the phones at those shops just don't know.

    Re: MRA Round #5 + 4 Hour Endurance Race @ HPR! - Sat/Sun July 30/31

That was a lot of fun! I rode 72 laps so that equates to 180 miles. The winner of the solo endurance rode 107 laps IIRC.
I lost my chain about 2 1/2 hrs into the race and had to come in for repairs and that cost me 30-45 min. I had a total of around 3 hrs on the bike (there was one red flag that ate up 20-30 min waiting for track to clear).

I wasn't even planning on doing this but now I can't wait for next year!

Great riding bueller! It was a blast and much more difficult than I thought it would be. My longest stretch was 38 minutes.

    Re: MRA Round #5 + 4 Hour Endurance Race @ HPR! - Sat/Sun July 30/31

I was planning on doing it like a track day and ride 30 min. and take 10-15 min. break but I ran the first 45min and was getting pretty tired from riding too tense, so I concentrated on relaxing, mostly my L wrist (weak link) and R ankle. Pretty soon it started to get easier to get the bike around the track and I started hitting a zone through the corners, it was an awesome feeling. I was starting to think about coming in for some water and fuel when they red flagged the race for Lars's crash in 11, it sucked to see him down for the second time in the day. The red flag lasted long enough for me to get a quick rest and some much needed hydration.
After the restart I headed back in from the paddock, and was cranking along at about 2.5 hrs, when I came around 1 and into turn 2 and for the first time in the race I gave my wife a wave before I leaned in for the corner, she was signaling for me on the wall. Well that must not have been lucky because as I was exiting 3 my chain came apart and I was relegated to sitting on the wall waiting for the crash cart.

I was assuming the day was done and I was kinda ok with that but I was still itching to ride. I went through my parts bins and found another master for the chain and double safety wired it

And off I went for the last hour. It was a very long hour and I needed to really work the relaxation angle. I was going round and round working on my problem corners and the amount of continuous repetition really taught me a ton, very valuable.

Towards the very end the 13 year old Spencer on his 250 passes me in the long straight (he is like 100 lbs and I am 210 ) and then we start running with each other till the end, after checking times this is where my fastest times are, knocked a full second off of my previous best. Spencer ended up riding 6 laps more than I did and finished 7th, huge congrats to him. That kid is going to do well at this sport.

I was very tired but my wrist and ankle faired very well, better than a normal track day. I learned a great deal by running this solo and am looking forward to next year!

107 laps? Wow! My team's plan was to have four racers ride thirty minutes each, but our leadoff guy pitted after a few laps with tire issues, so I went out early. I made it four laps before my bike sprung an oil leak, so I went around one more lap and passed off the "baton" to my teammate. I ended up coming out again for another session, so I managed to get in over twenty laps. I was spent after twenty-someodd laps. Major props to the rider who did 107!!!

ETA: For those who don't realize it, doing 107 laps in four hours is averaging 26.75 laps an hour, or about a 2:15 lap time each lap. That doesn't sound like much, but the rider AVERAGED those times for a for hour race. When you consider the race was red-flagged, the solo rider's lap times are actually faster. Sustaining those lap times for the entire race, when your legs are getting fatigued after lap 10, is incredible!

That also includes Josh pitting 5 or 6 times. His on-track average laptimes were below 2:00.

That's insane. As an average/below-average rider on the track, I pushed really hard to get 2:15 at HPR and it would fatigue me quickly. I can't imagine the stamina and concentration is would take to run those times for that long.

Congrats for all that participated no matter what place you finished in. Takes a special mindset to even attempt this. Will this be happening again next year?

I would say there is a real good chance of it, this is the 2nd year and seems very popular.
I hope there is, it is a great ride!

On his 104th lap Josh turned a 1:55 - totally impressive!

It was a great time! I had a blast doing this our second year in the MRA.

Big thanks to all the corner workers and track crew that stayed out late to make the event happen.

Also big thanks to Imperial Sportbikes and ABATE for sponsoring the event. Thanks to their generous sponsorships we were able to offer significant purse money to the top finishers in both the solo and the team classes.

I can say that the plan, as of now, is to continue doing this each season. It's been a great event for the MRA and a ton of fun for the riders and crews.

I had a great time. Although I got a little heat stroke even though I was chugging water.

I have to take my hat off for those who rode solo, and/or rode longer than 1 hour at one time. My longest session was 38 minutes and I was spent. I haven't been on a big bike in a while so my best time was a 2:00 flat. During the race I averaged 2:03 - 2:04 for my sessions. I learned a ton about stamina and being relaxed.

Incredible how we are making our minds relax while going over 100 mph with a knee on the deck.

That was awesome! I had planned on making it 2-2.5 hours, but managed to get to the end fully exhausted, but upright at the checkered flag. 11th place in solo, not too bad considering who else was out there and my total lack of physical conditioning. Improved my laptimes and had a bunch of fun, now I just wish my thighs would stop feeling like they got Nancy Kerrigan'd.

Definitely looking forward to next year!
