Trip to Moab via Dinosaur National Monument

I'm leaving on 6/3 and arriving on 6/4. I'm thinking about shooting to the monument area, staying the night then heading south to Naturita and over to Moab. Should be an awesome trip. Anybody have suggestions for motels in or around the Monument area? Any other tips will also be appreciated. Thanks!!

I'm a Roughneck on a drilling rig. It's kinda of a hard job.

I went through the area on a bike earlier this month, on the way to Salt Lake City via Hwy 40. A lonely place and ride. Mostly bone straight roads. Still, hauntingly beautiful. I think there is a motel or two near the Monument but nothing significant. Could do a Google search for Monument lodging.

Douglas Pass, north of Grand Junction towards Dinosaur Monument, is supposedly nice to experience on two wheels

    The trip sucked major ASS!!!!!!!!!
Rained, iced, freezing cold, problems with bike, forgot clear visor for night riding. I'll never go that way again before July 15 and after August 15. Two years in a row I got F-ed by the weather.
