    Orange R6

About a month ago there was a rider off of here that went on a ride with a group of us up to Deckers. It was the ride where Depth of Mind went down on his BMW. That day I let the rider on the orange R6 borrow a textile jacket of mine, I think his user name is something to do with ...badr6 or something. If you are out there I would like to get my jacket back please, I never heard from you like you said. Thanks

Wait, it wasn't the ride where the BMW went down, it was a ride out to Bishops Castle, I was confused

    Re: Orange R6

I apologize that it wasn't you but you both a somewhat of a similar user name. He has an orange R6 with led's around the headlight housing. Thats all I can really remember, he said that he was just waiting on his jacket because it was on back order, I didn't want him to go out with no gear so I let him borrow a white textile jacket that I never really wear, but I would still like to get it back. It's the principle of the matter.

Yup, I can't remember either. To be honest I just remembered letting him use it the other day. He told me that he would be giving it back to me as soon as his jacket came in the mail. I hate seeing people go on rides with just a hoodie, I just wanted him to be safe. This may be the last time I let anyone borrow shit.

Yea, I've lost a helmet or two because of letting people borrow them. If I see him riding around at all, I'll hit him up for you. I'm kicking it around town and crap almost every day.

Don't know the guy. Not many orange R6's around here that I know of, so I'll keep my eyes open.

    Re: Orange R6

I had pics from this ride on my phone but I broke it and lost them, SO if you were on this ride and have any pics that would be awesome. I know that Concabar and a few others were there. I can't remember his user name but Salima is his name, I THINK. He drives a BMW s1000RR, he took a good bit of pics while we were at the safeway at the end of the ride. If your out there and have pics I would really appreciate it!

    Re: Orange R6

OK, so now I'm on a mission to at least try and track down this user. I went back and checked the original ride thread, the user who borrowed my jacket is not on the post and the pics that had been taken are not showing up. BUT, I will figure this out. It's not even that I care about the jacket, it wasn't even expensive, I just want to know why hahah

    Re: Orange R6

It didn't seem like a big deal at the time, I mean I only paid 25$ for the damn thing from a friend of mine who sold his bike and just had it laying around. I just figured I would help another rider, but look how that shit turned out for me. I am now in the same boat as you, I'm not letting anyone borrow shit anymore.

That's really nice of you to let someone borrow your jacket. At the same time, he should have decency to bring it back. Just sayin.
    Hope you get it back!

I actually saw that guy two weeks ago at a store. If I see him again I will tell him to contact you.

That's jacked up man, someone is kind enough to let me borrow their gear for a ride the least I can do is buy him/her lunch or wash it and return it back asap... the fact this person hasn't even tried to contact you shows a lot. Hope it turns up though

    Re: Orange R6

Thanks TJ, and thanks to everyone out there who was trying to help me out. But at this point it is looking like this search is going nowhere fast. I'm gonna let this be and chalk it up as a loss. To the person who I loaned my jacket, Karma is a bitch and what goes around comes around. I was decent enough to let you borrow a piece of safety equipment until your jacket came in the mail. You failed to stay in contact and I'm pretty sure at this point that you have even deleted your CSC account. It is people like you who give us sport bike riders a bad name. Hell all you had to do was ask and I would have sold you the jacket for an extremely low price, hell I would have taken 10$ as long as I knew it was going to a good place and would be used to keep a fellow rider safe. Thanks for being a douche, you have taught me a very important lesson in life. Thanks
