Trip to Cortez Colorado 8/12/11

Almost a week left Ordered my tank bag yesterday and ordering my corbin seat today then this weekend ill be getting my rain suit and my riding pants Anyone suggest a local shop to get these two items?

I bought some decent pants from MotoGear Outlet. They definitely sell more towards the adventure/tour riding crowd. Saturday 8/6 they are doing one their early bird sales; scratch off a ticket for up to 40% off or something like that. You might want to check them out.

just got my vacation approved for thursday (to get the bike ready) and friday so this ride is DEF on now!!!

Grim, I didn't read through the entire post. Only looked at your maps, so you may have changed your plans -

For the return route, consider going from South Fork to Creede and then to Lake City and back north somehow. I think you'll enjoy that much more than 285. Just a thought.

Oh dude, you will be surprised... I got fired from Nissan because my blood sugar was low so I sat down to drink a soda and a snack. They thought I was just milking the clock and fired me without question. Then when they found out the real reason, they covered their asses and told the HR lady to put down that the position was terminated because of budget issues... The auto industry is the most dishonest and treacherous ever...

Been in this bullshit industry since 17... I enjoy working on cars and such but losing love being in all this crap with dishonest people trying to make me the same when I can't do it.

^^^^ That is the exact reason that I quit working on cars for a living... All they do is work you till your broken, then shove you off the ship. All the while paying you a pesants worth. IMNSHOP the only way to make a living being a tech is to be a hack theif who just lies to customers all the time, not for me and I'm sure not for you either. Plus it wasn't fun anymore (the whole reason I thought it would be a good job choice) and even made my racing cars and bikes not fun anymore. I have a shitty office job now, but at least at the end of the day I have my bike and my race car to turn to for my enjoyment/stress relief!

Yea dude, I'm trying to see how I can get put of this industry cause I can't do it anymore. I wanted to get my CDL but now apparently it turns out that because of diabetes I may not be able to get one, so may be stuck here getting paid shit for another few.
