So after work this afternoon, I decided to go back to the scene of my wreck (Parmalee Gulch) and conquer that "beast". Pleasant ride, completely uneventful. Completely stupid of me to hit the brake like I did that day, but whatever. Went through it fine this time, and working on not making the same mistake ever again.

That demon is dead, albeit along with my previous bike. But all's well that end well...I got a killer upgrade out of the whole debacle. =)

Now to re-acquire the gear that I want and get out of this old stuff again.

You see the thread in Misc. Bike Talk? Silver 2003. Had her for a week now...friggin' LOVE it. Just gotta get the mirrors replaced with bar ends, delete the rear fender...haven't yet decided if I want to lower the bars/get clip-ons with risers.

Would also like to get a more modern/sharper/edgier looking flyscreen (love the look of the new ones) and rear seat cowling (something low profile, not a big bubble) sometime soon. Not having much luck finding either for my year....

Alas, it is no more. I may try to do something similar once I get bored with the solid silver, but no plans yet.
