I bought an after market shield for my alliance icon helmet and I believe its not fitting tight against the rubber for the face shield. so now after 30mph it whistles like crazy. Any cheap quick fixes you guys know?

Skull candy and good tunes. This also works for ninja engine noise.

all my lids have sloppy holes or slots that allow the entire side plate to be moved. loosen them up and see what it does...

my $700 suomy did the same thing, and I was able to adjust 80% of the leak away...it was creating airflow over my eyes and drying my contacts out

Exactly; everyone should wear a pair on a motorcycle if they like "hearing" later in life.

I loosened the screws and moved both base plates back. got rid of the leak about 95%. Thanks for the tips.

This still is not going to protect your hearing and you should consider ear plugs. It is not the sound of the bike that hurts your hearing it is the wind noise that is impossible to get rid of with ANY helmet.

Not sure if it is still here but there was a post on this site on how much damage "wind noise" can cause after several hours on a bike. Find it and it may change your mind.
