    Cage Trackday??

So, I've been wantin to go beat the crap out of my car over at SCR. I drive by there everyday on my way to work and I see cars runnin around there from time to time. As soon as I get my summer wheels and tires all ready to go, I'm gonna go.

This had me thinkin a few things...
-I don't know what days cars are allowed on the track.
-How much do they nail ya for for a car? I know it's more than a bike.
-Would anybody else like to come along and flog their 4-wheelers?
-If there are folks that wanna go, is there any way to get a better rate for a group?

With that said, who's in? I think it'd be fun to chase each other around the track and see who's got the wheel-man skills. Anybody?

    Who's in? -post up!
Who has answers for me? -post up!

I'd watch out for Bob's version of "working with her".

Most times that I'm out there my g/f goes with me and she ends up getting hit on by Bob all night long.

It's more funny than anything but it's starting to annoy me.

I guess you missed Wolf's post. You can buy a lapper card, 5 half days for the price of 4. So get 5 people together, and it's 240/5 = $48 each.

Mischief, you have a charged focus? I didn't know that...my dad and uncle did quite a bit of work tuning those motors for some project and race cars. Which charger did you go with? Jackson had a great one for awhile (for the ztec motor).
I am thinking I might try and get in on this for my dad for fathers day...have him take out one of the Lotus' for an afternoon of fun.

    Re: Cage Trackday??

All better, with a shorter belt and less accessories to boot! Who needs A/C anyways, right?

Now, I just gotta get my tires to show up from Tire Rack and get em mounted, fix a strut tower problem, and I'll be ready to go.

And yes, it's the Jackson Racing kit. Hoopty's right.

just got my tires from tire rack, and a 1.8" drop kit. Now I need to get my wheels powder coated, tires mounted, drop kit installed, alignment, and a new seal on the steering rack (it likes to goosh fluid if you turn too hard).
