What was going to be an epic ride, turned into another memorial ride for one of my best and closest friends, Steve Wild (Scruff Dog). Sad, as I just did one last year for our mutual friend Merlin.
It's going to be about a 1,750 mile loop thru UT and CO, thru some of the roads I did last year, and a few new ones.

Got my new Metzler M5's mounted and on the bike Wed night (when I heard the news about Steve-O), and she's got fresh oil and filter, lubed and tightened chain, and is all ready to roll this afternoon.

Just got in a little while ago, sitting here with a bourbon on the rocks, heading to the 24-hr hot tub. AWESOME ride today, got about 1,000 miles in so far. REALLY like those new M5's......
