bike running poor....help

hey guys my 99 r6 is running really poorly...it idle crappy and dies out alot if i dont keep it revved up when idling, also when it gets to about 10k rpms it hesitates alot and will not go past 10k, in between bike runs fine...carb issues? ur thoughts??? thx again...

Sounds like the carbs need a good cleaning/sync. That's a good place to start at least.

See, the problem is going to be a little expensive. It appears you have a Yamaha. The only real way to fix this is to buy a Honda.

Yes just started doin this...do u think exhaust has anything to do with it??? Just put on a new delkevic carbon shorty and does not do it anymore, weird? Maybe no backpressure from old exhaust?
